To strengthen our international research team, which is focused on the development, research and diagnostics in the field of microbiology and myeloid leukemias, we are looking for a Technical Assistant (m/f/d). In this responsible role, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary competence center for pediatric oncology and to have a direct influence on the development of new cancer therapies.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate on a project focused on mutation-related resistance of leukemic cells to kinase inhibitors
  • Work primarily involves
    • cloning
    • site-directed mutagenesis
    • cell transfection
    • establishment of mutant cell lines
    • cell culture
    • various molecular genetic assays
 

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent) in life sciences
  • Experience in working with cell culture
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in molecular biology techniques like PCR, qPCR, Western Blot
  • Motivated to perform long-term cell line screening assays
  • Highly organized, precise and focused
  • Team-minded and quick to learn
